The history of ARDias goes back 3 generations linked with cork.

The acronym ARDias comes from the founder’s name, António Rodrigues Dias, who is the father of the current company director.

Founded in 1958 as a family business, ARDias has always been focused on the production of natural cork stoppers for wines.

The family environment, and the close relationship with clients, partners and employees has always underscored the way the company operates in the market.

From the wooden board through to the stopper, cork goes through a number of steps which differ depending on the type of stopper being produced.

ARDias’ innovation and competitive edge comes from its focus on the Boiling and Volatile Extraction phase, as it is one of the most important steps in determining the Stopper’s effectiveness with regards to the sensoriality guarantee.
